FILMS OUT THIS WEEK

A physicist undertakes a high risk experiment this week in Tim Travers And The Time Traveler's Paradox, while a lottery winner tries to get his band back together in The Ballad Of Wallis Island, and the story of student protests over the Gaza incursion is told in The Encampments. There more spectacular stunts from Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, a family business encounters trouble in Wes Anderson's The Phoenician Scheme and young love brings pain in When The Light Breaks. Meanwhile, one of history's greatest artists is profiled in Michelangelo: Love And Death, and the life of a sailor now living as a hermit is explored in Bogancloch - see our interview with director Ben Rivers. All this, plus there's a big screen rerelease for John Schlesinger classic Darling.

In addition to this, we have a great selection of streaming suggestions in our Stay-at-Home Seven, and you can check out our semi-regular column, Eye For Books.
